We’re proud to have a very experienced and welcoming team of dentists, hygienists, and staff. They’re trained and skilled in a wide variety of treatments, which is why we can offer our patients more complex procedures like periodontics, endodontics (root canals) and oral surgery in-house. Of course, if needed, we will refer you to a specialist as needed. No matter your reason for visiting, you can expect to be greeted with a smile, and treated to personal, friendly service!
Dr. Talita Gill
Dr. Talita Gill serves as Principal Dentist here at Courtice Corners Dental along with six staff members and three associate dentists. Of course, she gained a great deal of experience before she founded her own dental practice way back in 1996.
Before attending Dalhousie University's Faculty of Dentistry, where she earned a Doctor in Dental Surgery, Dr. Gill received an undergraduate degree in biology from the same university. After graduating, she worked and volunteered in numerous positions at Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and she served as an Instructor at the Dalhousie University School of Dental Hygiene. In addition, Dr. Gill held positions as an associate dentist in Halifax, Dartmouth, and the greater Toronto area. She also took seminars on restorative dentistry, and takes advantage of continuing education opportunities in prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and other dental disciplines.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Talita Gill takes pleasure in traveling, cooking, and entertaining with family and friends. She enjoys reading as well and counts The South Beach Diet: The Delicious, Doctor-Designed, Foolproof Plan for Fast and Healthy Weight Loss among her favourites.

I'm Nicole, a Registered Dental Hygienist at Courtice Corners Dental. I started my dental journey as a Dental Assistant in 2013. As my passion for dentistry grew, I pursued further education, graduating from Oxford College in 2021. Joining the Courtice Corners Dental team in 2023, I'm committed to provide the best care to my patients and help them achieve optimal oral health.
Outside of work, I love staying active, exploring new places, and cherishing moments with my family.

For over 20 years, I've had the privilege of being Dr. Gill's assistant at Courtice Corners Dental, and it's been an incredibly rewarding journey. Working alongside Dr. Gill and her team has not only been a pleasure but also an invaluable opportunity for personal and professional growth in my role as a dental assistant.

I'm delighted to be part of the Courtice Corners Dental team since 2006, where I'm the welcoming voice on the phone, eager to assist with appointment scheduling and answer any questions about dental care and insurance. Beyond the office, I cherish my time at the cottage, where tranquility reigns supreme, and during the warmer seasons, you'll often find me lounging on the beach. Art holds a special place in my heart, and lately, I've been exploring the art of silversmithing, pouring my creativity into crafting one-of-a-kind pieces.
